Players take turns rolling a die and
moving their markers that number of spaces back and forth across
the rows as indicated on the game mat. Players can
"capture" the spaces they land on by saying the correct sums.
The others in the group check for correctness. If players
are correct, they mark their captured spaces with their colors
or their initials.
When any player reaches or passes the
end, that is the end of that round. At that point some spaces
will be marked and some will not. Players than start again
at the beginning, and skip over any colored or marked spaces.
When time is up or all spaces are full,
players use a final tally of marked spaces to determine a winner.
Option:
For an easier version of the game, use only the first 6 rows of
the game mat; for a harder version, use all 10 rows.
