Draw a tic-tac-toe grid on a piece
of paper like the first one shown below.
Explain that the number in the box
is a sum. Ask children to find 3 number combinations that
equal the sum and to draw a line through those three numbers.
Lines may go across, up and down, or diagonally. They must
be straight lines. There is more than one combination for
each sum.
