This is the White House

The White House is the home of the President of the United States. It is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C. Every President except George Washington has lived there.

 

 The President’s office inside the White  House is called the Oval Office. It is called  that because the office is actually an oval  shape.

 

 

The President is the "Commander in Chief." This means he is in charge of the army, navy, marines and air force. He makes agreements with other countries. He also helps create new laws and meets with important people from other countries.
